    What You'll Learn

Basic principles of screening and diagnostic testing in senior dogs

Wellness testing is different from testing to identify disease, and we will look at principles and guidelines for both clinical lab testing and other types of assessments, such as imaging and tools for assessing pain, mobility, cognitive health, and more.

    After this course, you will:

    • Understand recommended clinical lab testing protocols for healthy senior dogs and the pros and cons of including specific tests.
    • discover the potential for clinical lab measures of biological aging to predict important health outcomes.
    • incorporate clinical metrology tools for evaluating frailty, pain, mobility, cognitive function, and other aspects of wellbeing into routine senior care.
